I’m going through some growing pains right now with the new edition of O.P. (Optimus Prime) our new puppy. I had forgotten how difficult a puppy could be and really didn’t foresee the negatives of the interaction with the two small children. There’s a lot of poop, pee, screaming, crying, chewing and general chaos happening. Hopefully by Monday I will have some new stuff posted.

On October 17th you can look for me at the First Christian Church Bazaar with my friend Emily. We’ll be hocking all manner of weirs and have some cool friends with cool stuff too! Please come check us out. It always helps to see, smell and touch the stuff you want to buy.

Stolen

I made this adorable bag yesterday. I was so proud of it. I spent hours being very diligent about seam allowances and straight stitching. Last night I took an awful quick picture of it.

This morning when I realized I needed to have a photo shoot with it outside I looked and looked and looked at it and could not part with it. I love it. I was so excited to take my stuff out of my other bag (which has been working great, but not is an improved upon) and show it off at the store and coffee shop.

I’ll be toting it around to the quilting ladies tomorrow. Nothing wrong with a little self serving promotion right?

Scrumpdiddlyuptious

Delicous Merino Bamboo blend.

This scrumptious Merino Bamboo has been sitting in my closet waiting for the perfect person to buy it. I had it on my old Etsy account that I never used or updated, and I’ve been tortured over what to do with it since it’s the last I have of this particular fleece. But that indecision is OVER!

It’s MINE! MWHA HA HA HA HAAAA!

Will post the self centered handspun pictures later…when I feel like. So there.

“Day One” sounds so ominous

Here we go again with the blogging. The writing. The picture taking. Only this time I’m actually excited about what I’m doing. I haven’t had this much fun crafting in a long time. So I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been doing and get your feedback.

I’ve been making cotton bags lately, but I’m starting to itch for a little more pizazz, so in the near future I’ll be posting some new stuff that hopefully will wow you. In the meantime, check out my latest fun!
